It’s time for another collection of free SVG files. Our theme this month is Christmas since it’s the perfect time to get all those projects done so they’re ready for December. With these free Christmas SVG files, you will be able to make decor items, clothes, gifts and more!

For my design, I used the words “The Stars are Brightly Shining” from the song “Oh Holy Night.” This SVG could be used for a wood sign, or putting on a glass frame, or for an ornament, like here.

Supplies needed (some links are affiliate)
Gold vinyl (like from Expressions Vinyl)
Transfer tape
Cricut machine
Blank wood star ornament
White paint

First, paint the ornament white. Get an ornament that has a space in the middle at least 2.5 inches to place the vinyl cut out, or you’ll have to cut it too small and it might have trouble with some of the really thin lines.

While the paint is drying, download the SVG below and upload it to Cricut Design space. Resize so it fits on the star.

Cut the gold vinyl. Weed out the extra vinyl and use transfer tape to apply it to the dry star.
If you need some tips, read this great post on how to cut and apply vinyl.

Isn’t it just lovely! I hope you’ll make one!

And that’s just to get you started. Now you can go visit all my friends’ posts and see all the creative free Christmas SVGs they have designed.
