Creative gift wrapping

I love creative gift wrapping, and just recently compiled a whole list of creative gift toppers

To copy these gift wrapping ideas, you just need to head to Walmart the following items:

Make tags or use these free printable tags I designed.

Here’s why you’ll want to make these Pilot Pen varieties part of your gift this holiday season.

FriXion® is the only pen that lets you erase and rewrite as many times as you need to! Misspell someone’s name on the gift-tag? Erase and write it again. Need to change something on your wishlist to Santa? Erase and write it again!

Erasable ink pens

FriXion® ColorSticks have smooth writing ink gel and come in some of my favorite colors, making lists, planning, addressing and labeling fun again.

G2®Pens by Pilot Pen are perfect for the holiday overacheiver. Variety is the name of the game with 27 amazing colors, four point sizes, and extra comfortable grip. The smooth ink lasts a long time. It’s no wonder G2® is the #1 selling pen brand in America.

Anyone who is taking notes for school, keeping track of life in a planner, or writing themselves positive sticky-notes will love these pens. So they make great stocking stuffers and gifts – and even part of the gift wrap!

How to use pens as gift toppers

Wrap the present first in wrapping paper of your choice. I really like using white or brown paper when I’m doing something fancy with the toppers.

Give pens as a gift

On this first package, I tied ribbon into a knot on the front of the box. Then I tucked a red, white and green FriXion® ColorStick under the knot and secured them with a bit of clear tape. I also added a gift tag.

For this second package, I wrapped some yarn around the box several times to create an overlapping pattern. Then I did a bit of weaving to hold the G2® pens in place, arranging them in an arch shape.

How to decorate presents with pens

The clips help hold the yarn also to keep everything in place. A tag looks great under one of the clips too!

The pens are fun on top of any present of course, but you can also make them match the gift inside. Give a planner or calendar for the new year, a coloring book, personalized stationery, or other writing and organizing item if your recipientloves them.

I hope you’ll consider dressing up your presents like I did here – and certainly try what it sure to be your new favorite pen!
