Todays Cricut tip is to use Iron-on vinyl for no-sew projects!
HTV works on all kind of material, like fabric obviously, but also felt, faux suede, nylon – and feel free to experiment. If the material can withstand the heat, there’s a good chance HTV will stick (but NOT on silicone, as it’s a very non stick material for a reason.)
Here are ways I have done this:
- Attach a loop of ribbon to the backs of my Easy Press Mats for hanging
- Patch a hole with iron-on
- Use HTV and fabric to make a no-sew wallet
- Create a sunglass case with faux suede

Today’s Tip: Use HTV for No-sew Projects
- Think of iron on vinyl as a heat tape
- It can be used to attach pieces of fabric together
- Great for quick alternatives for sewing, and sometimes instances where sewing isn’t practical
