I’ve been reading The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern and I’m loving it. I love all the descriptions of the circus, the costuming and the magic. I decided to take all the black and white imagery and turn it into a centerpiece that would be great at for a Night Circus book club night or party.

Post sponsored as part of the FloraCraft MakeItFun team!

Here’s what you’ll need to pick up:
FloraCraft® Cake Form
Black and white cardstock
Black, white and red flowers
Small bird
Black feathers

Start by cutting the white paper and taping together to make one 4 x 27 inch strip. Cut the black paper into 4 x 2 inch strips and gluing them 2 inches apart across the white strip. Tape around the foam.

Then clip the flowers with wire cutters and push them down into the top of the foam.

Tuck in the little bird somewhere. I liked it right by the red flowers.

For the final touch, I found this awesome Cricut design and cut it out of black and gray cardstock. Then I painted a wood skewer black to add it to the arrangement.

So what do you think? Have you read the book and do you think my centerpiece captured it?
