These tasty peanut butter balls, or Buckeyes, are super easy to make. Then with some colored Sixlets, they become the cutest spring treat!

1/2 cup butter (one stick) softened
3/4 cup peanut butter
1/2 tsp vanilla
3 cups powdered sugar
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1 tsp coconut oil
colored Sixlets (I found these in the bulk section at Winco, or you can order these from Amazon , affiliate link)

Combine the first 4 ingredients in a mixer, or pour into a large ziploc bag and squish everything until it’s evenly mixed. Kids love to help if it’s in a bag!

Roll into 1 inch balls and place on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper. Freeze at least 30 minutes.

Melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil in the microwave. Start with 1 minute and 50% power, and keep adding 30 seconds at a time until it melted and smooth.

Dip peanut butter mixture into the chocolate and set on wax paper to cool. Top with Sixlets before the chocolate hardens.

Store in the fridge. Makes about 3 dozen.
