This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of BIC® for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

With Thanksgiving approaching, we’re all trying to find ways to show more gratitude. And it’s a great time to recognize the sacrifice that many make of not being with their loved ones for the holidays. A family friend is currently working on his Eagle Project for Boy Scouts and is collecting Thank You cards to send to soldiers serving overseas.

It was perfect timing when BIC asked me to create a post using their Merry Marking ideas and BIC Mark-It™ markers. These low odor permanent markers are acid free and come in 36 vibrant colors. I chose #DeepSeaBlue for today’s project.

My kids helped me decorate some note cards and I used Deep Sea Blue to write messages inside the cards. We had been given some instructions as to what to include in the cards. Words of encouragement like “Thank you for your service” and “Keep up the good work” were suggested.  Then each of the kids got to write their own names inside the cards.

You can get the booklet of merry marking and a coupon to start marking your own projects at home and share with friends!

I would like to challenge 3 of my blogger friends to make a few of their own Thank You cards for soldiers—we can send them a Sea of Thanks! So Lisa of Mabey She Made It, Laura of Eye Candy Creative Studio and Amy of Atta Girl Says you’re up. Be sure to tag pics of your cards, or any other project from the Month of Merry Marking with #BICMerryMarking so we can see them!
