If you’re still looking for a fun little dessert for your Valentine’s Day dinner, I have the perfect solution for you.  What’s great is that not only does it taste divine, it’s way easier than it may look.

Ingredients
Vanilla ice cream
Puff Pastry sheets
Boysenberry syrup (though any kind, including chocolate is good…but trust me on the boysenberry. So good!)

Supplies: (affiliate links)
heart cookie cutter
baking sheets
ice cream scoop
baking mat

Let the dough defrost, per package instructions (about 40 minutes sitting on the counter)  This lets you unfold the dough without it breaking. Unfold it out onto a Silpat baking mat.

Cut heart shapes in the dough and transfer carefully to a lightly sprayed cooking sheet.

Bake at 400 for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.  Set to cool on a rack.

Once cooled, split in half with a fork and put the bottom piece in a bowl.

Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream then the top half of the heart puff.  Drizzle with syrup and serve.  Then enjoy the praise 🙂

Let me know if you try it, and what the favorite syrup flavor ends up being at your house.
