{Pineapple Card}

Remember my Pineapple Trend post from a few weeks ago? I had to add my own to the list of course.

It’s been too long since I posted about cards and I loved how cute and easy this pineapple card is. Plus, I’ll show you how I did faux metal etching on it.

Start by downloading this pineapple SVG so you can use your electronic cutter. Size it to 4 inches x 5.25 inches.

Then you need some metallic cardstock and pink cardstock.

Do some test cuts on the metallic cardstock to see what your blade settings need to be at to just cut into the top of the paper, but not all the way through. Then cut out the pineapple design.

Cut the pink cardstock to 5.5 x 8.5 and fold in half to make a card. Then glue the “etched” metal paper on top and you’re done.

Who would you send this pineapple card to?

What would you design with faux etching?
