Mini Bubble Blower

{Make mini bubbles!}

Are you still having snow days? Here’s a bubble activity that can entertain all ages of kids, and you can do it all right at your kitchen table.

You’ll need:
a straw
small square of mesh material (I used some plastic window screen, but tulle would work too)
glue gun
liquid dish soap

Straw craft

Glue the mesh around the bottom of the straw with the hot glue.  Use the low setting if you have one, because the glue can melt the straw.  Don’t burn your fingers.

As the glue cools, mix a 2:1 ratio of water to dish soap in a small bowl.  Dip the end of the straw into the bubble solution and blow.  Blowing fast will send tons of tiny bubbles flying, and slower will create bubbles like this.

Let your kids experiment, and when you’re done, it all wipes up with a washcloth (and your table is cleaner than when you started..win-win!)
