Did you know Mickey Mouse turns 90 this year? I’m turning 40 next week, so we both have milestone birthdays 🙂 To celebrate, we had a special Mickey Mouse birthday breakfast with Eggo Mickey Homestyle Waffles, 16ct. Since every party deserves a great theme, I made a sign that says “We’re NUTS about you Mickey. Happy Birthday!” And then we included a lot of nut-related items to pile onto our breakfast.

To make the party planning even easier, I used Walmart Online Grocery Pickup to shop for everything I needed. I got the nuts, coconut, hazelnut spread, berries, bananas, paper plates, balloons and more! Plus of course the Eggo Mickey Homestyle Waffles. They are a wholesome and filling way to start the day. Plus, Eggo Waffles now have colors and flavors from natural sources. I simply added everything I needed to my cart and then scheduled a time I wanted to go pick it up. I ordered on a Friday afternoon, and set pick up for Monday morning.

I got an email during my time window that my order was ready, so I checked into the app and said I was on my way. In the Walmart parking lot, I followed signs for grocery pick up.

I parked in a marked spot and someone came to my window to confirm my name. My bags were loaded into the back of my van and I was on my way. It was so easy!

Back at home I made my birthday sign. I created it with felt and iron-on vinyl, but I also made a printable version that you can use as well.

Once that was done I made food labels for everything. I mentioned we were using a “nuts about you” spin, so we were able to replace syrup with things like chopped nuts and coconut.

Doesn’t it look like such a fun party? We sure enjoyed our birthday breakfast for Mickey. When you order, click here to earn cash back. What’s your favorite waffle topping? I’d love to hear!
