It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Today you get Day 5 of the 12 Days of Christmas printables. I’m showing off my colorful Christmas mantel and giving you the printable I designed to go with it.

I sent the printable to Office Depot and had a blueprint printed at the ARCH D size – it was less than $4 to print it. (some links are affiliate)

There are few ways you could use a print this large, but I decided to use a canvas I already had as the “base” of my art.

I cut foam pieces (this foam cutter tool set is great) to make a frame and added a layer of Smooth Finish to make it paintable. A few coats of pink paint and it was all ready. I used painters tape to attach the print and the frame to the canvas.

The pom poms were a fun touch. I bought this pom pom maker kit and made a bunch of these while watching a Christmas movie. My 12-year-old got in on that action and she got really good at them!

I strung a bunch together and draped them over my giant art piece in a faux frame.

What would you use this printable for? It can be printed large, as you see here, but it could also be printed at regular 8.5 x 11. Since the design prints in black ink, this would look really cool on kraft paper or another color of paper.
