I can’t believe the week is finally here.  I’m headed to Utah on Thursday to rub shoulders with some amazing bloggers at SNAP, see a sister, a brother and sister-in-law, and I couldn’t be more excited about the whole trip.  Time has flown by since I made this video last year.  Aw, look how young I look 😉

I’ll be spending the next few days getting things ready around here for me to leave.  This is the first time I have gone anywhere all by myself, and while I know my husband and kids will be just fine, there is something a little weird about the whole thing 🙂

I have one little project I hope to share with you before I go, between cleaning bathrooms, checking on laundry and making sure there’s milk in the fridge.

Today I’ll just leave you with this pretty picture of my most recent sewing project–a sweet little pouch made from canvas drop cloth, red fabric and lace.

It’s where I’ll keep my stash of business cards this weekend–both ones I’m giving away, and ones I’m collecting from everyone else.
