Fabric Covered Foam Head

{Sponsored by FloraCraft}

I have some cool news: I’m so happy to announce that I’m on the 2014 Make it Fun team with FloraCraft

They have all kinds of fabulous foam shapes for any project you can imagine. Even those you can’t imagine–like these foam head shapes! Upon their arrival at our house, my husband made me promise to not pull any tricks and leave one next to his pillow in bed or something. Deal. And same to you 🙂

If you’re looking for some quirky decor for your craft room, or a fun display for hats and headbands, this fabric covered foam head is just the thing.

FloraCraft foam head
Fabric, cut into 2 inch squares (I used a Fat Quarter and had a little left over)
StyroGlue
Small bowl
Paintbrush

Start by mixing equal parts glue and water in a bowl. Use the brush to apply glue to the pieces of fabric. Lay down randomly all over the foam head until completely covered, making sure the fabric keeps the form of the head underneath.
Let dry completely.

Super easy, right? Set it up in your sewing room, use it for a hat display in a craft booth, or whatever else you want!

What can you envision making with some foam heads?
