Cricut sent me some vinyl to make this ugly Christmas sweater, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Want to make your own ugly Christmas sweater? It’s totally easy with iron-on vinyl, and then you’ll have the perfect sweater for your next ugly Christmas sweater party, or just to do all your holiday shopping around town!  **Project File Available Below**

You’ll need a sweater or other long-sleeved shirt. I chose a neutral gray so all my vinyl and the hat would show up nicely. Then you’ll also need iron on vinyl and a Santa hat.

Use your Cricut to cut out “Meow-y Christmas,” cat face, mouse elbow patches and little pink bows.
I used black for the elbow patches and text (font is Everyday Fonts Best of Times)
Gold glitter for the cat face (I used one of the Cricut design space images and cut off the birthday had that was attached)
For the little bows on the elbow mice I used pink glitter.
**Remember to mirror the images before you cut**
Position all the vinyl on the shirt (including sleeves) and iron on. To make the hat cut about 6 inches down from the top pom pom, and cut a section of the white band from the bottom of the hat.  Use a glue gun to wrap the white band around the bottom of the new, shorter hat.
Attach the had to the shirt using safety pins from the inside of the shirt (this way you can take it off and wash the shirt.)
Here’s a close up of the sleeves.

If you don’t have your Cricut yet, or if you need some vinyl or other supplies, click the banner below to start shopping. If you make one of these Meowy Christmas sweaters, I’d love to see it!– so share it on my Facebook page or tag me on Instagram. @steph_crafting_rain
