With my kids being in school all day now, finding fun things to do with them is a different set up than it use to be. When they were younger and home all day, I had to find crafts, snacks and activities to have fun and fill our days. Now, I have to plan them out to make sure that our time together isn’t just homework, chores and off to bed.

I decided it would be fun to give them the ingredients to make a strawberry “carrot” and dirt pudding cup. Everything was easy to find and also easy for the kids to help with. These would also be great at a spring or Easter party! Here’s what you’ll need:

SUPER Snack Pack Pudding Cups (chocolate)
OREO cookies
Strawberries
Orange candy melts

Wash and dry strawberries, but don’t remove the stem. Melt candy at 30 second intervals at 50% power in the microwave until smooth when stirred. Coat strawberries and set on wax paper to cool. Popping them in the freezer speeds the process.

Pulse 8 OREOs in a blender or food processor until it makes small crumbs.

Remove the easy pull lid from the pudding cup and pour in 2-3 spoonfuls of cookie crumbs. Then add a strawberry carrot to each cup.

Now your cute little carrot garden is finished. My kids had a great time making this with me!

Some Walmarts have a display out with coupons on a tear pad. My store didn’t have this set up, but be on the lookout at your store, or print out this –>coupon.

What would you add in to your SUPER Snack Packs?
