I’m participating in another Craft Lightning today, and the current theme is Weddings. So in 15 minutes or less you can make this personalized wedding card holder. We used this very one for my sister’s wedding on Saturday.

Here’s a shot after the wedding and dinner were done and people were visiting and dancing.  Isn’t the Leach Botanical Garden beautiful?

But still not as pretty as my sister 🙂 Here’s my parents, all my siblings, and our new brother-in-law.

Anyway, the actual craft…you’ll need just a few things. (affiliate links)

Paper in one of the wedding colors
Black Vinyl
Twine
Hot glue
Cricut

Birdcage Gift Card Holder

After looking at the pictures you probably don’t even need instructions. It’s super easy. Cut letters from black vinyl and triangles from colored paper/cardstock. Then use hot glue to attach them to a piece of twine and tie each end to the sides of the cage.

Are you attending any weddings this summer? Be sure to see all the other wedding Craft Lightning ideas too, especially if you’re helping to plan one! Thanks for reading, and stay tuned for a couple other DIY wedding posts, like the giant marquee letters my husband and I made.
