Fall Flower Arrangement

75 Fall Harvest Ideas

Hey hey–it’s time for another mega blog hop! Abbey from The Cards We Drew has brought us all together again for over 75 fall ideas for your home and your taste buds.

I decided to create a flower arrangement with rich fall colors to put in my kitchen window above my sink.

Just wandering the floral section of the craft store I was immediately drawn to the cotton stems. I knew I had to use some. Then I grabbed some large ruffly orange blossoms and finally some tiny purple flowers. I chose a copper planter to hold it all.

Back home I cut up a foam block to fill in the bottom of the planter. Fake moss perfectly covers up all the white so it won’t show through the flowers.

Finally it was time to put the flowers in. I’m here to tell you that this is NOT hard! Use wire cutters to cut extra length off of the orange flowers and push them down into the moss/foam. Then add stems of cotton, making some higher than the flowers. Finally fill in the space around the bottom with the small purple flowers. Straighten out any leaves if you need to, and it’s all done.

What do you think?
