Naming Layers in Design Space

Keeping things short and sweet for week two,did you know you can name the different layers in your layers panel?

This can be really helpful when you are trying to hide certain layers, or when you’ve done a lot of welding or attaching and all layers now just say “weld result” or “attach result.”

Today’s Tip: Rename Layers

1- Double click the layer name

2- Type the new layer name

3- Hit enter to save

Why it’s useful to rename Design Space layers

You can easily identify which part of the design you want to hide or show. Otherwise you might be stuck guessing every time, and that just wastes time while you’re working.
