Hey everybody–how about we start off this Monday with a giveaway!  I’ve been pretty much giveaway-free around here, but I think I’ll throw one in now and then, if that’s alright with all of you–Sound good?

I’m sure a lot of you have heard about this #1 rated scrapbooking software…but even if you don’t scrapbook, wait–it does so much more too!

There are tons of free paper designs and elements (plus more available for purchase) perfect for creating invitations, cupcake toppers, postcards and even blog headers or Facebook banners in addition to scrapbook pages and albums.  Then they can be shared digitally, or printed and bound.

For my first project using the program, I made simple monogram decorations for the girls’ room.  I found a background I liked, added a letter on top and saved it as an album.  Then I was able to upload the png of each image to Costco and have them printed out as 8×10’s.  I could have printed it at home too, but I wanted the sturdy photo paper for my project.

I nailed 2 small wood boards together and painted them white.  Then I cut the printed photos into 8.5 inch squares and applied them to the wood using Mod Podge and then smoothed it all down with another coat.

To hang them, I attached a soda can tab to the back.  When we get around to remodeling their room (including scraping the ceiling, replacing carpet and re-texturing walls) the wall color will be different and the white boards will actually stand out more.  But even now, they work as cute decorations over each of their beds.

Ok, so wondering how you can throw your name in to win your own software and start playing?

Just leave a comment telling me what’s the first project you’ll use My Memories Suite for?

For bonus entries, follow my blog, and/or follow the My Memories blog and leave a comment for each.

Giveaway will close at 8 pm (Pacific) on Thursday Aug 9 and the winner will be chosen using Random.org and announced on Friday morning.

And finally, I have a code that you can use to get $10 off the price, plus and extra $1o in free credit to the store.

I hope you’ll check it out to see if My Memories Suite is right for you!

Dislosure: I have signed up to be an affiliate with My Memories Suite and would have been given a free copy if I didn’t have it already:)  All thoughts and opinions are my own.
