I have found that if I can make things as easy on myself as possible, I’m more likely to go to the gym.
I mean, that’s true with most things, right? Remove the obstacles and it’s easier to do anything!
So here are some things that I have gotten recently that make a trip to the gym more enjoyable – and several of these things can be purchased in your favorite colors!
I’ve discovered that I actually like showering at the gym – and these items make it a breeze. Let’s take a look at my “What should I take to the gym” list.
Suction hooks – I can hang my toiletry bag, my clothes, a towel – just aim the shower water away from them!
Hanging toiletry bag – I definitely want to use my own soap and shampoo – not whatever might by in the gym dispenser.
Quick dry microfiber towel – it takes up hardly any room in my gym bag.
Shower sandals – you know why 🙂 and I like that these have holes in the bottom.
Gym bag with a shoe compartment – for stashing those shower sandals! The exact kind I have isn’t available any more – but they’re all pretty similar. Just make sure you check the size in case you want to fit a yoga mat or long foam roller inside.
My own foam roller – I really like these for massaging my legs after squats.
Mesh laundry bags – so convenient for containing, and separating, dirty and clean clothes.
Dry shampoo for dark hair – I don’t need to be adding any extra white to my roots thankyouverymuch.
So probably nothing there really surprises anyone – except for maybe the shower hooks 🙂 Then you’ve also got things like water bottle, ear buds, small towel. But there’s a good chance you have something there you like already.
