I made a macaron Valentine and you can use the tag to do the same!

Oh the Valentine puns! Can you even handle their cuteness? This one came to me as I was falling asleep one night. That means one of two things…it’s totally lame, or it’s totally amazing. But either way, MACARONS! So it’s an automatic win. Who wouldn’t love a macaron Valentine?

Farina Bakery Macrons

“I sure didn’t MACARON choice when I picked you!”  (My husband would have totally rolled his eyes, but he was too busy enjoying a macaron.) And it really does sound pretty good once you say it outlout in a slightly silly accent.

If you’re extra talented in the kitchen, go ahead and make your own. If you’d rather leave that to the professionals, like I did, then pick some up from a favorite local bakery. These are from Farina Bakery in Portland.

Then just decide how you want to package them up–in a box, in a bag, with some string, or anything (thanks Dr. Seuss!)

Print out the tag, trim, and you’re all set. You can even cut it to be folded into a card. And as long as you read it in an accent, it totally works. What do you think?

Happy Valentine’s day everyone, and enjoy those macarons Valentines.
