I wanted to hang something “subtly” related to the 4th of July, and though it would be fun to use this picture frame (which had already been spray painted white) with some clearance Christmas ribbon and left over blue tissue paper.  I made pom poms and hung them from the frame.  It came together in about 15 minutes.

I still like the idea, but I think the white frame is just lost against my white door.  What do you think?
