{How to Speed Clean a Bathroom}

The back to school countdown is nearly on. We actually have a few weeks to go, so we’re squeezing in violin camp and swim lessons still, plus a trip to the fair this week. But the wheels are already turning for the kinds of schedules I want to have in place for when school starts up again. I am wanting the kids to leave the bathroom clean every morning before they leave the house.

There are 4 things in the bathroom that need to be wiped down with a Clorox wipe: Counter, Sinks, Toilet and Mirror — yes, you can clean mirrors with Clorox wipes! It doesn’t need to be perfect here. The kids work on the bathroom together, for a couple of minutes every day, and then it will never get too dirty.

To help them remember their jobs, I laminated a card with the tasks printed out and it will stay in the bathroom under the sink with the wipes. You can print out the same list here if you want.

The wipes clean and disinfect at the same time and then get tossed in the trash–definitely better than pushing germs around on a sponge. I always have my kids wash their hands after they’re done cleaning the bathroom too.

Do you like this idea of quick daily cleaning in the bathroom? What are your tips for me?

You might also like things you should steam clean.

Maybe you want a jump start to your spring cleaning plan, check out this printable kit from the Dating Divas The kit is totally customizable (and has detailed instructions on how to make edits before you print.) You’ll find chore charts, cleaning lists, ways to get the whole family involved.

    I love keeping Clorox Wipes in our bathrooms for speed cleaning, too. And I really like the idea of having the kids do it. Thanks for sharing! #client

    I am a Lysol wipe addict! I used to use the Clorox ones, but got tired of having bleach spots on everything I owned!
