My husband has been saying for years that he needs a new drill bit set. They’re getting worn out, and at least one is missing. So it’s the perfect time to make a Father’s Day drill card.
In 15 minutes I put together a card and paired with a new set of drill bits, we’re good to go with an easy Father’s Day gift.
Here’s a short video you can watch about how I turned a regular drill cut file into a drill card using Cricut Design Space. Search for the drill shape in Design Space – shape #M35CB5.
Basically you just copy and mirror the shadow layer, weld to the other one to make a card base shape. Add a score line down the center and size all elements so that the base so that half of it is 5 inches across.
Here’s the finished card. You can cut the base from any color you want, but I chose white so that we could write on the inside of the card.
You can open these files and cut them right away using these links and your Cricut.
Let me know if you have any questions!

Lovely cards for fathers! Would it be posible to have it as an svg? I always want to save my files on the laptop instead of having them saved in design space. Thank´s for all great things you do and share with us.
I agree with Marie Anderson can the cut files be saved to my computer as SVG’s . I have a Cameo and am unable to use Design Space. There are so many cute SVG and I am unusable to use them. Thank you for your help. I love the drill for Fathers day.
