It’s been another week of Craft Lightning posts–check the #craftlightning tag on Instagram for lots of great ideas–and the theme is Father’s Day. (post contains some affiliate links)
My husband has been saying for years that he needs a new drill bit set. They’re getting worn out, and at least one is missing.
So in 15 minutes I put together a card and paired with a new set of drill bits, we’re good to go!
Here’s a short video you can watch about how I turned a regular drill cut file into a drill card using Cricut Design Space.
Basically you just copy and mirror the shadow layer, weld to the other one to make a card base shape. Then you can add all the top layers.
Here’s the finished card. You can cut the base from any color you want, but I chose white so that we could write on the inside of the card.
Let me know if you have any questions, and if that video was helpful!
