It’s the time of year that we love to get together and celebrate with friends and family. I have an easy appetizer idea for you that will let you focus on the company and not be stressed about the food. We served these just last week at Thanksgiving, and you can take these same snacks with you to office parties, potlucks and any time you’re hosting.

I’ll even show you the cute serving dish I whipped up!

First, you’ll need to pick up your ingredients from Fred Meyer.
Kaukauna® Sharp Cheddar Cheese Ball
Kaukauna® Double Sharp Cheddar Cheese Log
Crackers
Baguette
Garlic
Butter
Olive Oil

At home, melt 3 TBS butter and 1 TBS olive oil in a pan. Chop 3 cloves of garlic into large chunks and stir around in the hot butter for 30-60 seconds. Then remove the garlic pieces.

Cut the baguette into slices. Brush the garlic infused butter / oil mixture onto the slices and place in a single layer on a cookie sheet. Broil in the oven for just a few minutes to toast them. You’ll want to watch them closely so they don’t burn!

Remove from the oven and place on a serving tray with the Kaukauna® Sharp Cheddar Cheese Ball.

For the cheese log, I found the perfect sized rectangle plate. Using my Cricut machine, I cut glitter vinyl to say “cheese please.”

I applied it to the top of the plate and then added the Kaukauna® Double Sharp Cheddar Cheese Log and surrounded it with crackers. After the party, you can take off the vinyl and it goes back to being a regular plate!

When it’s time to eat, spread cheese on a baguette slice or a cracker and enjoy! You and your guests will love it. It’s guaranteed to be a dish that everyone will enjoy.
