{Decorate paper folders}

I can’t pass up a good Duck Tape craft, and when we can use it to make cute duct tape school supplies, it gets the kids more excited. I know that here we’re only a month into summer vacation, and I’m already posting a Back to School craft! BUT, when Emily from The Benson Street invitedme to her Back to School series I had to do it 🙂

So I’m going to click POST on these Decorated Folders, and then jump right back outside to sit in the sun and watch the kids play in the sprinklers and eat popsicles 🙂  And you can do the same. Just tuck this idea away on a Pinterest board for when you’re buying glue sticks and pencils in bulk in a few weeks.

I received some free rolls of Duck Tape to showcase in my post, and I just love these new Duck Tape colors! And so did my kids. Tell me you love these flamingos too 🙂 There’s so much you could do with all these designs.

Anyway, all you’re going to need for our little project today is your favorite Duck Tape and some plain colored paper folders. They’re usually on sale for about 15 cents right now, or 10 even if someplace has a great deal. My kids are in elementary school and always need a few of these for packing around their homework.

Adding Duck Tape will make them more fun and my kids

The process is about as straight forward as you might think. Lay down strips of tape along the front, “spine” or corners and fold and secure to the other side.

Which pattern is your favorite? Do you a have other school supplies you’ve dressed up with Duck Tape?

We also did this pencil box last year:

I hope I’ve inspired you to try some new Duck Tape crafts, and don’t forget to visit The Benson Street so you don’t miss any of the other Back to School ideas!
