Date Night with Tony’s Pizza

This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and Tony’s Pizza, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #tonyspizzeria

We had our Spring Break this last week and we just hung out at home, enjoying the welcomed sun at a few different parks, trips to the library and science museum. We even managed to have a little date night at home, with the kids around!

I started out by giving this card to my husband in the morning (print your own) that says I ♥ U MORE THAN {pizza} and on the inside I wrote an invitation for him to have dinner with me that night.

While I was at Walmart picking up a few different things, I also took along this coupon I found on SAVE 75 ¢ on any two (2) TONY’S multi-serve pizzas (11.04 oz or larger) in the freezer aisle. (while supplies last)

I grabbed some Tony’s Pizza, a salad kit, and some cheesecake slices from the bakery.

At home, I baked up the pizzas in the oven–one for us, and one for the kids. With its real cheese, sauce made with real tomatoes and new crispier crust, it was a great affordable dinner for the whole family! They ate at the dining table, but we ate by ourselves where I’d set up our dinner on the coffee table.

To make it a little fancier, I set out a few fake candles, put our plates on chargers, and dressed up our dessert. I drizzled some caramel sauce on the plate before placing the cheesecake on it. Yum!

It was a fun way for us to have a little alone time, the kids were occupied by their own dinner, and it’s good for them to see that we place importance on having date time, even if it’s during the middle of the week and we don’t go anywhere. 🙂
