{Citrus recipes and crafts}

I’ve joined up with some of my creative friends again for our themed monthly post. This time it’s citrus! I made some citrus plates, specifically lemon and lime, and you’ll love how easy they are to make.

Here’s what you’ll need:
Colored plastic plates
White vinyl
Transfer tape

I found pairs of colored plates at the dollar store and picked up yellow and green. Pink and orange would be super cute too.

Start by downloading the citrus svg. Size it to fit inside the diameter of your plate, with some room to spare around the edges. For example, my plates were 6 inches across on the bottom so I resized the shape to be 5.25 inches.

Cut the vinyl and use transfer tape to place in the middle of the plate. It doesn’t even have to be totally exactly in the middle. Just close.

Rub the vinly to make sure it’s evenly adhered to the plate and peel off the transfer tape. All done!

Now load them up with lemon bars or grapefruit meltaways, or anything else to make a cute party display or gift. These will hold up to careful handwashing, especially if you use outdoor vinyl, but mine was just indoor.
