Fall is the perfect time to start experimenting with recipes because no one minds having the oven on. The cinnamon smell that filled my house while I was baking these cookie bars was simply amazing.

You should try to find M&M’s® Pecan Pie if you can too. There must have been a run on them in my town because I had them 3 weeks ago, but then couldn’t find them again. (EDIT–they are back, and available at Walmart!)  I think they’d be really good in this recipe.

I had the recipe in the oven in less than 15 minutes, the exact amount of time I took a break between a couple of my online classes.

Recipe:
1 box Pillsbury™ Cinnamon Bun Cookie Mix
6 TBS melted butter
1/2 cup pecan pieces
1 cup M&M’s® Milk Chocolate Harvest (or Pecan Pie)
1/2 can sweetened condensed milk
2 TBS Mott’s® Apple Juice or Snapple® Apple

Stir the melted butter and the cookie mix until crumbles form. Press evenly into the bottom of a 9×13 pan. Sprinkle nuts and M&M’s® over the crust. Combine condensed milk and apple juice and pour over everything.

Bake for 25 minutes at 350.

So what are you waiting for? Go try this recipe!
