The Cricut Minute #27 Let’s talk about one of the options in Design Space when you send your project to cut. You can adjust the cut pressure!
After you select the material type, and then you can leave the pressure at default, or make it More or Less.
This is really useful when you find that a design you cut maybe had just a little bit of trouble.
Did a sticker cut through the backing in some place? Or the sticker didn’t cut all the way at the corners?
My first fix is to change the pressure, rather than jump around to try different material choices.
If that doesn’t work, you may need to try a different material setting altogether, but I find that the settings in Design Space have been very close to accurate for all materials I cut.
Today’s Tip: Change Cut Pressure
- If your design cut is not quite right, try changing the pressure to less or more than the default
