Today I get to show you the evolution of my purse wall and how I put dark purple paint in the living room!
You may remember this fun little spot near my front door from a couple of years ago. I turned this small wall into some purse organization by adding a few hooks. The paint color is Valspar Turquoise Tint, and the chevron stripes are white electrical tape!
After having it this way for a couple of years, I was starting to think a change was due. Since you really only see it from a few angles in the living room, it’s a great place to really play around with color and add something unexpected. About this same time, I was contacted by Vinyl Wall Art and I knew that some of their confetti vinyl would be perfect here.
I removed the electrical tape, washed the wall, and painted it Behr Blackberry Harvest. It looked pretty good already, and very different. Like I said, it’s a great spot to really have fun.
So then I took Polka Dot confetti in white and randomly placed some all over the wall. No measuring or anything because I wasn’t trying to create a real pattern! Now the wall is back to having some real personality.
