Use Vinyl on Paper

If you’ve ever struggled with cutting small or intricate paper pieces for a card or another project, you will love today’s tip. Use vinyl for the intricate parts of paper projects!

It’s so much easier than wrestling with paper or cardstock for small pieces.

Small designs in paper and cardstock are harder to cut, harder to peel from the mat and harder to glue into place because of their small size or thin connections.

You can see how for the small eye pieces, cheeks and smile I used vinyl. And the even the lilypad is adhesive cardstock!

As long as you don’t press the transfer paper too hard onto bare cardstock, you won’t have trouble with it tearing up any of the paper.

Today’s Tip: Use Vinyl for Intricate Paper Project Pieces

  • Small and thin designs can be hard to cut and glue onto paper projects
  • Switch to vinyl instead! It’s already sticky and small pieces cut easier
  • BONUS: Use adhesive cardstock for easier layering, and you can also use HTV on paper!
