While at SNAP I got to attend a class held by the lovely Holly and Kim from Poppy Seed Projects. (Be sure to check out their project options!) I loved the class, had been a few days since I designed, or painted, or sanded anything…and I was going through withdrawals 🙂
They had an amazing selection of full size frames and art to choose from that they had already prepared with some coats of black spray paint and their texture cream.
I picked this frame here and painted it a pretty Coral Blush from DecoArt for the outside and white for the inside. When that paint was all dry it was time to sand, and the texture cream made the distressing show up really great.
I knew it would be perfect for this portrait from back when the girls were little. Awww.
