Easter is just a few weeks away, so Bethany from Pitter and Glink had the great idea to get a bunch of Easter themed posts together for all of you! My part today is showing you how to make some cute little paper baskets that would be great for party favors or place cards at your Easter dinner. (some links are affiliate)
Start by downloading the svg cut file. I sized mine to be 7.5 inches across (the longest part is the handle.) You can adjust yours to a different size before you cut if you like. At this size the basket ends up being 2 inches tall, then 4 1/2 inches with the handle added.
Use your Cricut or Silhouette to cut the boxes from white cardstock and fold on the score lines. Use glue to secure the tabs inside the front and back and attach the handles with brads.
This is the point where you’ll want to stop and decorate. Grab whatever you have in your stash like washi tape, twine, ribbon, flowers buttons. I even made a moss initial for one of mine!
Finally, fill the baskets with paper grass and a few treats.
