We’re just finishing up our Spring Break, and it was fairly relaxing, so I enjoyed that in my first year as a paraeducator!
We visited some family, some college campuses, I did some reading and crafting and shopping and baking.

For today’s Cricut Minute, let me praise the humble weeding hook.
While essentials for removing extra vinyl and iron-on from a design, it can be used for a lot of other things too!
Today’s Tip: Other Uses for a Weeding Hook
- Position a small piece of cardstock for gluing
- Press the inside seam of a 3D project while glue dries
- Poke a hole for a brad
- Tear the plastic shrink wrap around new vinyl
- Get under the edge of tape keeping a new vinyl roll rolled up
- Free dried paint or glue from a bottle
- Pull away the backing of transfer tape if my fingernails can’t get it
- Push a piece of vinyl back into place if it came off the liner (for adhesive) or the carrier sheet (for HTV)
