First, I have to make a little shout out to everyone who voted for me in the Snap conference contest. I was one of 5 finalists, and then there was a tie for the winner, so they made 2 winners, and I was one of them! You have to go check out the other winner too, Tasha of Creation Corner. She’s got beautiful projects, great tutorials and fun giveaways. What more could you want?
Next, aside from the above surprise, the weekend was great because I got to spend it with my parents and 2 sisters, my husband and 3 kids of course, and we had nice weather! On Saturday we went to the Portland Farmer’s Market on the PSU campus and then rode the street car to Powell’s Books to look around a little and get some books for the girls who both read like it’s going out of style.

And we made these cookies in our new convection oven and they were pretty much perfect.
And last but not least, I’ll leave you with a couple of onesies I made to send to my sister-in-law who just had a baby boy (after 4 girls!)
There’s one more that I want to make, but I only had two onesies at home and haven’t gone to pick up any more. Here’s my first post about freezer paper/ fabric paint stenciling if you want instructions.
Thanks for lookin’
