Cool Pies for a Hot Summer

Uncategorized

20 Jul

This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and EDWARDS®, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #EdwardsPies http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV

Do you have a reason to celebrate coming soon? You’ll want to just make something up if you don’t, just so you can create your own pie party to say Hip Hip Pie-Ray!

This summer has been warmer than normal here in the upper-left corner of the US. (Since we bought this house I am now one of the spoiled ones with air conditioner.) But anyone can beat the heat with one of these tasty EDWARDS® pies. I’ve had the Chocolate Crème before, but didn’t even realize they had so many flavors!

I let my kids help me pick out a couple from Walmart, and I wasn’t surprised when they went for Edwards® Turtle Pie and Edwards® Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup® Crème Pie. But you can also find New York Style Cheesecake, Key Lime, Hershey’s® Special Dark Chocolate and more.

Not that pie needs any help to be more exciting and fun than it already is, but I wanted to make a cute set up for our pie party. I bought a foam board to make my giant sign. Simply paint a border on the edge in any color and cut out paper letters and a banner.

I set pieces of pie out on plates layered with a small doily, just to be extra fancy.

I also knew these pies would make great gifts. Who do you know who has something to celebrate?

New baby? New job? Potty-trained toddler? Survived another sports season? Just made it through another day? Help them celebrate by picking up an Edward’s pie.

Copy this picture, paste in a word document, resize if desired and print it out. Attach to pie and make a special delivery. It will guarantee smiles. As an added bonus, you can save $1.00 on any ONE (1) EDWARDS® Whole Pie by taking advantage of the Walmart EDWARDS Ibotta digital rebate (while supplies last).

What flavor do you want to try?
