Day 30: Patience
If I just had more patience, lots of the other things I’ve worked on during the month would come a little easier. But at the same time, it’s hard to just say “Today I will be more patient.” It needs the specific choices of “I will not yell, I will listen when my kids talk to me, I will provide learning opportunities and ways to keep them busy, I will treat them kindly.” Patience is the blanket attribute that makes all of those things possible.
What do you think–which comes first? Having patience, or doing all those other things? Do they have to just come together? How do you make sure you’re being patient with your kids?
