How is everyone’s month of May going so far? We’ve had some gorgeous weather, and that’s always exciting for spring in the Pacific Northwest. Many of you are gearing up for end of school parties and assemblies, graduations, final concerts, and more. We still have 6 weeks of school left, so we haven’t quite hit the crazy zone on the calendar, but these warm sunny days make us antsy for summer.  I decided it would be fun to plan a movie night with the kids, especially since they started their state testing this week. They could all use a little break!

I headed to Walmart and picked up the new Peter Rabbit Blu-Ray + DVD along with Kid Cuisine All Star Chicken Breast Nugget Meals, and Orville Redenbacher’s Ultimate Butter Popcorn (plus a few goodies to make my bunny popcorn mixes) to complete our movie night party. It’s dinner and a show, and it’s easy!

Peter Rabbit Popcorn Mixes

We made 3 different popcorn mixes and called them Flopsy, Mopsy and Cotton-Tail. I designed a card for each mix. I also cut out bunny ears and glued them to the backs of take-out boxes to hold the popcorn.

See the end of the post for both downloads.

FLOPSY: Popcorn + Chocolate Mints + Pretzels

MOPSY: Popcorn + Fruit Chews

COTTON-TAIL: Popcorn + Cotton Candy + Mini Marshmallows

So cute right? We made our mixes, heated up our dinners, popped in the Peter Rabbit Blu-Ray disc and settled in for no-stress, fun family evening together.

Peter Rabbit is fun for the whole family, and Kid Cuisine provides kid-friendly favorites that can serve up a whole serving of vegetables – and they’re easy. And you may not know that Orville Redenbacher’s Popcorn has 0g trans fat per serving, and is the only leading brand of popcorn that has no artificial preservatives, flavors or dyes in any of its products. I purchased the Ultimate Butter flavor, but you can look for Movie Theater Butter, Butter, Cheddar Cheese and even Kettle Korn!

So come up with a quick excuse to plan a Peter Rabbit movie night – lazy weekend, Mother’s Day, sunny weather, rainy weather, anything goes really. Put some fun popcorn mixes into decorated take-out boxes and you’ll create an evening that all your kids are sure to remember. Which bunny popcorn treat would your family love most?

Yum! Flopsy is surely my jam with the best of salty & sweet, chewy & crunchy! #client
