Meet Stacey from Glued to My Crafts

Hi guys! I’m introducing you to a blog friend today–this time it’s Stacey from Glued to My Crafts. She’s taking over for the day to tell you a bit about herself and share some of her favorite posts.

Hi Crafting in the Rain readers! My name is Stacey and I’m stealing Stephanie’s blog for the day. I’m super excited to be here and hope we become new friends soon. But first – let me tell you more about myself & my blog. I blog over at Glued To My Crafts and it’s essentially my craft diary. Like the blog name states – I’m a craft addict. Nine times out of ten – you will find my dining room table covered in craft supplies and my head overflowing with ideas. I hope one day to own my own craft store & studio. {A girl can dream!}

Although I like to be referred to as “the crafty girl” that’s not my only title. I’m also a proud Air Force wife and a mother to a preschooler who keeps me on my toes {and inspires a lot of my posts!} Currently we live in Cheyenne, WY but with military life, that could change tomorrow.

Through my blog I share my crafty adventures, as well as everything in between. From family life to recipes – there is a little bit for everyone. Here is just a run down on things you can find on my blog. Starting with my favorite – kid friendly crafts. So far this year, this Superhero Handprint Craft has to be my favorite {and most popular} post to date. Although it was intended for Father’s Day – it’s great to make all year long. Not to mention – it’s super easy!

Another thing I enjoy sharing on my blog, is DIY’s for adults to do. I know not everyone has the crafty gene or the time to do elaborate crafts – so I hope to inspire with my simple tutorials and ideas. Take for example these Paper Scrap Birthday Cards. They are super easy and affordable for everyone to make. {But yet impressive for the receiver!}

And if you have a sweet tooth like I do – be sure to check out my recipe tab. From time to time, I like to share various dessert ideas that are sure to be a crowd pleaser. This Easy Blueberry Muffin recipe is one of my personal favorites. It’s super easy, so you can even get your kids involved in the making.

And don’t think the fun stops there – I also share Free Printables, Busy Bag Ideas, Roundups and Reviews on my blog. AND if you want a look into my life outside the crafts – check out the Military Life tab for a sneak peek on what it’s like to be a military family.  If you happen to be a blogger, I also host a weekly Crafty Thursday Obsessions linkup party every Thursday w/two other bloggers. {great for sharing your projects and getting some exposure!}

So as you can see – there is tons of fun stuff over at my blog, so be sure to head on over to check it out! You can also find me on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram. And like I always end my posts – I hope to inspire you!!!
