26 Hours in Seattle

While our mini vacation really was mini–just an overnight stay– (which gave new meaning to “Sleepless in Seattle” with 3 kids used to only sleeping in their own beds/crib!)

But we fit in lots of fun activities, and even had sunshine to enjoy yesterday!

We rode the monorail, saw the Space Needle, spent a few hours in the Science Center, walked around the LDS temple, ate some food now and then, “slept” in our hotel, woke up too early, enjoyed the continental breakfast, spent the whole morning at the aquarium, had lunch, walked around Pike Place Market and then drove home.  There were a couple more things on our list that we’d hoped to get to, but our kids were done, and we’ll be back up there again sometime.

Here are a few quick pictures.  And also my step card I made (from my To Do Tuesday post)  Also, while there are no pictures, the pecan pie bars were really yummy!
